The Foreign Entrepreneur Promotion Committee (FEPC) is a private organization encouraging exchange and networking between the foreign and Japanese business communities in Fukuoka. The committee promotes the foreign business community as a viable long-term legitimate entity in Japan's business community.

The committee was founded by independent foreign business persons with the support and encouragement of local government agencies, trade organizations and consulates.

The committee looks to create and foster a more active and integrated foreign business community, support local foreign entrepreneurs, provide networking opportunities with the Japanese business community, enhance the image and presence of foreigners doing business in Japan.

The core of the committee consists members from the foreign and Japanese business community. The committee is  supported by representatives of local business organizations as well as Fukuoka city and prefecture business promotion offices.

Foreigners currently conducting or planning to initiate business in Japan, those abroad considering Japan as a prospective market for investment, resident small business owners looking for networking opportunities, business conscious persons in search of a valuable resource.

The committee accepts applications from the community at large. Membership is at the discretion of the committee and requires a unanimous vote.

The committee looks to organize business related seminars, meetings and events in general that create networking opportunities for the foreign and Japanese business communities.
