From November 21-26, close to 10,000 people entered the fair city of Fukuoka for the JCI World Congress. A hectic daily schedule of seminars, keynote speakers and workshops was topped by the eclectic nightly parties held at the Marine Messe. Foreigners and Japanese alike enjoyed the festive activities of the theme parties held each night from Germany to Africa to Austria to America to Japan and more, and visitors got a true taste of cultural flavor and diversity.
The FEPC was honored to be part of the week's events by operating an information booth at the Congress Center, providing a Fukuoka Information Guide, organizing parties and excursions and acting as guides to our visitors. Each night's party was highlighted by a trip to Tenjin to give the delegates a true taste of Fukuoka nightlife - ending the week with a special sayonara bash at the Voodoo Lounge. It was a week to remember.
Thanks to all of our new friends. We hope you enjoyed your visit to Fukuoka. See you in Austria.
